STR is composed of four core companies that together provide clients with a balanced, full range of services to make their building endeavors run smoothly and seamlessly.


STR was founded in 1969 as Scheidemantel and Treitler Ltd. Today, STR Partners has grown to be one of the largest full-service architecture firms in the Midwest specializing in education architecture. Our practice also includes research and development, corporate, interiors, health care and hospitality projects.

Complementing STR Partners are STR Consulting, STR Interiors and STR Building Resources, providing construction consultation, interior design and roofing consultation services.
